Machine vision systems have been widely used to build automation systems in manufacturing and manufacturing industries after the change of Industry 4.0 in Germany. In the case of the visual inspection manufacturing process, on average, the false positive rate reaches 40%, but in the smart process of automation, the false positive rate can be greatly reduced to less than 0.2%, so many manufacturing companies around the world are innovating manufacturing processes with machine vision systems.

However, for machine vision systems, vision experts are essential for the smart process of automation in that only vision experts who have learned a programming language can use these technologies. In the midst of the attention of the manufacturing industry, the manufacturing field faces the problem of not being able to properly use good technology even if it is purchased from a supplier due to the absence of a vision expert.

Based on this market situation, VizCam, a machine vision platform, launched RTU and presented a solution to relieve the labor of manufacturing practitioners.

RTU stands for Ready To Use, meaning that the machine vision system can be used immediately. Existing vision software must be handled by technicians who have learned programming languages such as C++ / C# / Java / Python. In the case of RTU, it is a solution that significantly lowers the difficulty so that the user can configure the machine vision system immediately after completing 2-3 hours of training.

RTU provides standard vision inspection applications such as OCR, Code Reader, Measurement, and Blob, and can be applied to various industries including secondary batteries, F&B, and diagnostic kits. A controller and camera are bundled for user convenience, providing the easiest solution for companies who want to use smart processes.
